Fully Diluted Valuation
Fully Diluted Valuation (FDV) = Current Price x Total Supply
Fully Diluted Valuation (FDV) is the theoretical market capitalization of a coin if the entirety of its supply is in circulation, based on its current market price. The FDV value is theoretical as increasing the circulating supply of a coin may impact its market price. Also depending on the tokenomics, emission schedule or lock-up period of a coin's supply, it may take a significant time before its entire supply is released into circulation. Takamaka Overview
Our blockchain provides native support for two crypto coins: TKG and TKR (Takamaka Red). TKG is a variable value cryptocurrency, similar to ETH or ADA, used for governance and paying transaction fees. Half of the TKG supply was introduced in the first block, and the remaining half is mined through block creation, which occurs every 30 seconds. In contrast, TKR is a stable coin, and its entire supply was created in the first block, with no additional generation possible through mining or other means. Blocks are generated by mining nodes, selected based on the amount of TKG staked by their holders. This staking process functions as a voting mechanism, where stakeholders decide which nodes will create blocks for an epoch, consisting of 24,000 slots, each 30 seconds long. During this time, only assigned nodes can create a block, and any blocks created by other nodes are discarded as invalid. At the start of each new epoch, transaction fees are divided between the node (20%) and the stakeholders who voted for that node (80%), proportional to their stakes. Notably, staking on a node does not freeze the amount, allowing it to be freely used. Stakes for the next epoch are calculated based on balances available at the end of the first third of the current epoch.
