What is Monkeys about?
We begin with a Meme and Community project.
What makes Monkeys unique?
We are 14 days alive, trading on Dextool, and fully community-driven and decentralized. Key features include: - No dev wallets - No marketing wallets - No initial wallets - Liquidity is locked for 100 years - Admins and community members work as volunteers A notable aspect of our project is the legend story surrounding it. Initially, a group of admins proposed a contract with a 6% tax for trading, which the community disagreed with due to its tax farming nature. This led to a split, resulting in a significant dump of 34 ETH, causing the project's value to drop to zero. However, the community persevered, rebuilding from the ashes, and we have since achieved a market capitalization of 1.5 million and briefly surpassed 3 million.
What's the history of Monkeys?
Our project's history began with the creation of a contract and the addition of liquidity, which was then locked for 100 years. This initial effort drove the market capitalization to 5 million. However, the story took a turn when the developer sold their tokens, leaving the project fully decentralized. Unlike other meme trends, such as #Doge, we are #Monkeys, with a unique legend story that is still being told.
