YBTC is interoperable to EVM-comptaible chains, Ethereum L2s, and Bitcoin L2s through LayerZero.

YBTC is yield-bearing in nature and 1:1 backed by BTC. YBTC holders receive staking rewards generated by securing chains on Babylon’s Bitcoin Staking protocol. Additionally, YBTC can be used in the BTCfi Ecosystem to generate yields from DeFi protocols focused on Restaking, Yield Farming, and more.
