History of Overtime

Overtime originated from the Thales Protocol (2021), a binary options platform. The project quickly advanced by deploying on Optimism L2 and pioneering a novel AMM for on-demand liquidity. This mechanism was adapted to create Overtime V1, the first liquid, permissionless Sports Markets AMM. The protocol then evolved to Overtime V2, adopting a cutting-edge Merkle-tree design to ensure exponential scalability and deliver a superior, high-efficiency user experience.
